SocialMode Child Safety Standards

Last updated: June 30, 2026

SocialMode has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, trafficking, or any behavior, content, or activity that exploits, abuses, or endangers children.

Minimum age

SocialMode is intended for users aged 16 and older. SocialMode is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly allow children under 16 to use the app or knowingly collect personal data from them.

How SocialMode works

SocialMode is designed to help users use social media more intentionally. SocialMode does not operate its own public social network, does not host public user profiles, does not provide public chat rooms, and does not publish a public user-generated content feed.

Some activity accessed through SocialMode may take place on third-party social platforms, such as Instagram. Those third-party services are operated by their respective providers and are subject to their own rules, moderation systems, reporting tools, and safety policies. SocialMode does not control or moderate third-party platforms. We strongly encourage users to report any child safety concern directly on the third-party platform where it occurs, using that platform's own reporting tools, in addition to reporting it to us. Our zero-tolerance policy applies equally to any behavior facilitated through the use of SocialMode, regardless of where that behavior ultimately takes place.

Reporting

Users can report child safety concerns, abusive behavior, illegal content, safety issues, or misuse of SocialMode through the app's report or feedback features, or by contacting us directly at:

socialmode.help@outlook.com

We review every report we receive, regardless of its origin, and take appropriate action. Depending on the situation, this may include restricting access to relevant SocialMode functionality, preserving relevant information where legally appropriate, removing or disabling access to content or features under our control, and reporting apparent CSAM or exploitation to relevant authorities or child safety organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), where required or appropriate by law.

Prohibited conduct

SocialMode does not allow the creation, sharing, promotion, storage, or distribution of CSAM. SocialMode also does not allow any use of the app or our services to sexually exploit, abuse, solicit, groom, traffic, or endanger minors.

Compliance and cooperation

SocialMode complies with applicable child safety laws and Google Play policies. We cooperate with lawful requests from appropriate authorities when required.

For urgent danger or immediate risk to a child, users should contact local emergency services or the appropriate law enforcement authority.
